Problem with my Eurovox Max 2006 on 30/11/08 firmware (blue)

    Hey..

I have a Eurovox max blue 2006, with the 21st april firmware on their, recently there has been alot of code changing, and i wanted to upgrade to the altest 31/11/08 firmware, however i am having problem. When i upgrade to that firmware, my scart gets corrupted, just like the 21st april firmware, and when i attempt to use a RF coaxil cable, and connect it to the tv, the screen isn't set right, its like everything is scribbled out. Now since im fimiliar with the interface of the eurovox max 2006 blue. I was able to navigate around with what i could see, and was able to clear data and reset to factory default settings (6952). then there was a flash of display "0000" on the box's plate. So i was aware that it has been set to factory default settings.. It's still scrambled after that tho.. I can get the scart working after this, but yet it's still scrambled, "i had one succesful attempt, where everything was ok.. the code updated itself for the new firmware, but when i turned my box off and on, i had the scart problem.. from their im stuck and don't no what to do (this problem doesn't persist with the old firmware for some reason :|)

usually when the scart gets knocked out after flash m8 your box is a clone.
try flashing it with the blue clonesafe firmware.
this has happened to me a few times and the blue clonesafe flash rectifies this problem.good luck.

You can use it on both genuine and clone boxes without any problems, other than having to reset the scart connection once after flash.
