number of channels?

hi, can someone tell me how many channels they usually get using eurovox?i have about 250 channels (including tcvh and btchannels) on my eurovox, but was talking to someone the other day who said that they had about 400 channels?? he told me to do a deep scan to get more channels, but i dont want to mess my channels up. Is he telling porkies or should i do a deep scan?

Although doing a deep scan can get you an extra channel or two maybe, I personally found that when I did one, I got a lot of the same duplicate like 3 or 4 times, this also gave me a false impression of the number of channels, I find 250ish channels to be about right. Stick with what you've got, you dont gain much anyroad.
