    EX 7000HD

    Hi i Have EX7000 HD everything works ok all channels the problem is the BBC high definition channel looks blured. any one any ideas?
    I have selected 1080i from menu and my tv is 1080p pioneer.

      I have connected the hdmi cable but nothing came through so i connected the scart as well picture appeared when scart connected.
      should the picture and sound come through using hdmi only.

        yes , hdmi cable transmits sound and video alone

          your HDMI and SCART signal should be coming through on different channels. The BBC HD picture will appear blurred because you are using SCART, and SCART cannot cope with the HDMI signal.

          How many HDMI sockets do you have in your TV? You should have a dedicated channel for each socket, like you do with SCART (AV1, AV2 etc). They will probably show up as HDMI1, 2 etc also. I would recommend you reconnect you HDMI lead and play around with your channels until you find the HDMI channels.

            on most pioneer screens you have to go into the setup menu and switch on the hdmi input,
