Had the same problem until my teenage daughter pointed out the different downloads I had to do including altering the telly mode, connection, usb, etc.
My problem is that I can only get BBC HD. Is that right or are there others I should be able to get?

That is correct.

This is the only HD Channel avaliable just now with cable.
