    HELP PLEASE!

Hello. I wonder if anyone can help me?
I was trying to flash a friends box EX5100 PVR, I downloaded the right firmware and i have the right cables But when i try to download the firmware to the box it gets stuck on 'Waiting For The Responce From Your Reciever'.
I have been on 'How to flash a eurovox' and followed all the instructions, I have tryed things like clicking download and then turn the box on etc but to no avail.
We have tryed on 2 computers and all the settings are right.
So I have no idea what could be wrong?

The cable you are using is a 9 pin nullmodem cable female both ends and have you chosen the right com port.

when i flashed my first eurovox i had the same problem.
when it says waiting for response switch eurovox off for 10-15 seconds then switch on will start sending software
        straight away m8.

Are you 100% sure that it is a null modem cable? Are you using a USB adapter also or does your PC have a 9 pin serial port?
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer. - Douglas Adams
