How do you know the cap is fine, as it doesnt need to show visual signs of failure. An ESR meter would give you a definitive reading ahead of a multimeter.
Also a cap contains a charge even when box is unplugged, so take care when inspecting it. Try reverting back to the previous firmware you had on it first.I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer. - Douglas AdamsComment

Have you tried the flash without unplugging the box or have you tried it by pressing the micro reset button on the main board while flashing?
It sounds like a clone box flashed with genuine firmware, however the box would show no sign of life so this is not the case.I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer. - Douglas AdamsComment

I got that thanks for putting it all together
Have you tried the reset switch?
Failing that the bootloader may be corrupt and can be fixed with a Jtag. I would try the reset switch first.I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer. - Douglas AdamsComment

1 - Start flash update.
2 - Press reset button inside the eurovox.
3 - Apply power while button is pressed.
4 - Release button and the firmware update should start.I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer. - Douglas AdamsComment
