Eurovox EX5000 "newbie" questions

Hi all, i have checked a lot of posts and cant see the answers to my exact questions, but as i am new please bear with me if i have missed something!
Basically I have a Eurovox EX5000 PVR which is working fine except the EPG guide will only show until about 6am the following morning, is that normal?
I have seen a lot of stuff about new firmware with or without auto sort, sorry but what does that mean?
Lastly then i promise to shut up, is anyone aware of a box that could be used in Turkey via satalite as i have a place there which this would be very useful for!

I have a EX5000 and I do not get more than 12hours in advance epg so I'd say it's normal.

The auto sort firmware will automatically sort into favourites like Sports/entertainment/factual etc

Thanks all, the EPG may not be the best but i can live with that but at least the new firmware and installation guide have made other improvements so thanks!

Just one more question, does anyone know of a similar box, or whether this one can be used in Turkey?
