    MaxV. kicking Broadband out?

Hi there hope you can help me.

I have had Vir**n for over 7 years without many problems. I had only the 10Mb Broadband, no Television or Telephone. Last week I decided to go for one of their packages that gave me 20Mb Broadband, Free Television and their Telephone line. The upgrade was installed and after the Tec left I reconnected my Eurovox MaxV box and my Broadband lost connection. Now I have had my Eurovox long enough to know what I am doing, to a point, and checked all the connections were sound and correctly connected etc. I was running the three outlets via a 3 way splitter. When I disconnect the connector to the Virgin box my internet connection returns, the same happens if I were to disconnect the Eurovox. It appears that I can only run 2 of the required 3 systems [Eurovox, Telephone and Broadband].

I hope somebody can give me some insight.

Sounds like the splitter may be causeing the problem now. Try another good quality splitter/booster cos I also have all three services running on the same line and I only have 2mb BB and everything is fine and can use all 3 services at the same time.
Also check the cable termination plugs, one may have come loose and may be shorting out.

Thanks for the information. I will double check all the connections.
I was thinking along the lines I may need to use Isolators for the 3 outs.

I suggest you first investigate all other possibilities before spending ?s on additional equiptment. There are plenty of peeps on here who are receiving the same services as you without any probs. And adding extra equiptment to your line will only weaken the signal.
