1000SL BIG Problem, please help!!! Urgent!!!

Just been round to my mates house to do his Eurovox. Now Ive flashed and installed 3 of these things, so this one is puzzling me.

I flashed the latest firmware.
I connected it to the telly and the cable feed.
I did a factory reset
I did a deep scan
I selected the 6.952
I pressed ok

It found 0 channels.

I was there for about 3 hours, what am I doing wrong?!?!

why after flashing did you factory reset that restores old film ware

Stig a factory reset wont do nout with firmware m8......the new 1 will still be on it.....

davey as 4 u m8...........try and scan using 6887 frequency...

u dont need 2 do a deep scan... a power scan will do m8...

also if u r doing a scan make sure u have no splitters attahed ETC

1- The symbol rate for Liverpool is 6952 mate and Ive just belled him to tell him to do a power scan, he told me he has turned signal boost on?

2- The cable feed from the wall wont allow it to be attached to the box as it is attached directly to the splitter.

It did actually pick up around 200 channels when I first put the box in, but when it sorts & saves them I turned the channel to SSpots and the display "No or Bad Signal" was shown?

ok m8....... i didnt know u was from liverpool m8

as 4 no or bad signal that means wot it says......try put the feed in from the wall 2 the box.......get longer cable......or get a new splitter....if its saying no or bad signal u scan all day long m8 still wont do nout

He bought it today.

He has done a scan and it has found 200 channels.

Only thing is, they are the same 10 channels duplicated. He has 42 AtTheRace!

Hes just text me to say he did a deep scan as the power scan just duplicated 10 channels. He said the result was exactly the same so he is going to try again tomorrow.

if you have done 3 boxes why don't you take a channel file from one and load on to the problem box

Didnt think of that mate - didnt think it was that simple!

Anyway, he text me this morning sayin he unplugged everything, reconnected it all up, made sure the connections were secure and done a power scan.

It worked! Thanks everyone!
