The driver dosent recognise the usb to rs232 adapter?

Yep Wilf... that what it said.. finding new hardware.. but with no luck I am still stuck with my cable not picking up my euurovox box?

I connected the box through adaptor and the actual eurobox is off at mains... only using the computer to conect to the box.. I bought adaptor off eBay off First2Save

Yep. Got the actual NULL cable skywonder supplied me, so added an extra adaptor the the end of the null cable to convert the end to USB.

The USB Adaptor is called HL-340 [Greenish Colour)

i knpow you said it hasnt loaded the driver but have you tried to flash the box? with box turned off press download then switch box on. if that dont work first try a different usb port on your laptop and see if it will install the driver by itself if not have a look in here as there is some drivers available http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...hlight=drivers

ok, the comport on loader has to be identical to the 1 in device manager,

To get to device manager you need to:

                  Press start button
Move mouse over My Computer to highlight it, then right hand mouse click
                  Then click on Manage
                  Double click on device manager
Double click on ports(COM & LPT)
                  Double click on usb
Goto port settings, the advanced and change the port in there.
Try port 1 first if that dont work then try 2,3 then 4, until you find the one you need.

when you go to device management and plug in your usb do you hear a bling noise? then you should see the ports(com& lpt) if not you may still not have a driver installed if so click on the plus sign at the side and it will drop down and should say prolific serial usb to (com?) that ? number is what you need, try the usb in all on ports on puter if you find one 4 or less that should be ok to flash the eurovox.

m8, you cannot physically move any channels, they are as thery are.
You can put them in favourate categories ie sports, movies, music & kids, others and so on, to your own taste.

You could also find or request a CDF file for your area, this will have channels sorted in order.

The best thing to do is sort all the channels in order yourself and then upload the list to your PC, that way you will have all the channels that you want saved for future use.
SLOWLY, OUR FREEDOM IS BEING ERASED.
SOON, WE WILL JUST BE A NUMBER.
IF WE DON'T FOLLOW, WE WILL BE ERASED.
