Eurovov 5000 PVR Latest Firmware update

Hi Guys does anyone know the latest firmware version for the above box. wehave been losing quite a lot of channels due to NTL Upgrading

If you are in Ireland which I presume you are then it as you have suspected due to an encryption change. There is no firmware update for the Eurovox in Ireland.

satsmo can you tell me if its orth buying a eurovox 7000 hd as talk of n3 caming to the uk .and would my pictue be better then then ex5000

m8, The 7000HD does have a super clear picture quality and is better than the ex5000. The only problem is at the moment there are not very many HD channels so you have to consider the cost for what you are getting.

As for N3 coming to UK, that depends on what happens in Ireland. If the new encr*ption can be opened, then I dont think the CC will bother with it in the UK but so far its not looking good across the channel.

You just have to take a gamble, you might be lucky and get your moneys worth but on the other hand you might not.

As with all of these boxes, there is just NO guarantee, its a gamble.

EUROVOX PVR5000 - Am in the UK.

Hey Guys,

I downloaded the firmware 02/09 for my Eurovox pvr 5000 as I was not able to view some of the channels, but even after I downloaded the firware, I am still not able to view those channels and other are also now disappearing, I keep getting the message "Scrambled Channel". Is this the most up to date firmware and is there anything I can do to get back to normal?

Any assistance would be most appreciated.....
