    i know ive tried that. Its coming up Com3. I then select this in loader. It says receiver not detected. I then select com3, press ok, then switch the box on at mains. starts to load then f**** up mate.

      sounds like that all ok then. what cables have you got where you get them

        yeah ive done that mate. It comes up as com3, i then select it in firmware. Its says the receiver was not detected. Then i select com3, then start and switch box on at mains. Starts to work but fails.

          dynamode USB-SERIAL, with null modem cable, from cable star off the net matey.

            do you have a (rs232 usb to 9pin male serial cable) connected to a (rs232 9pin female to 9pin female NULL cable?) if the second 1 not a null cable it wont work

                cheers mate. I am using a USB to 9 pin male, with a 9 pin female (at both ends) cable. They said this was a null modem cable, and could be used for flashing. Is it not right wilf mate?

                  yeah if you were told its a null modem cable then it should be the right one, do you by anychance have the packaging as this would be the only way to tell if it is a null cable. if you have a female to female serial cable it would look exactly the same, the only difference is they are not wired the same inside
