    I have tried everything....

Been trying to get my eurovox 5000 to work since wednesday. Have firmware on it, correct symbol rate, and cdf file for where i live, and its still not finding any channels and telling me my TP:000. Any more ideas? I would be very very grateful.

ive just been looking online for solutions, i think the area is mmds. Does this make a difference to the TP?

Just seen that you are in Birmingham(from another thread you made which I had to delete as its better to stick to one for the same problem), there is no MMDS in the UK. Are you using 6952 as your symbol rate and do you have a live feed?

We havent had a previous cable or satellite supply. We just have the aerial plugged into the RF. Do we need a minimum subscription package to get it working?

yes mate you need a live cable feed.

these are cable boxes and will NOT work on terrestrial tv signals

As indicated yes you need a live feed and I would recommend getting at least a minimum subscription not only does it help if you have a problem with your line but the network needs to be kept live and subs are the only way to do this.
