eurovox 2 silver

hi allll..just flashed a friends eurovox 2 double scart silver. latest softwarw...plugged it all into the tv and i cant get into the menu side to rescan...i know the remote is ok as ive tried it on my max 5..i think it could be the infa red sensor in the box
any ideas how to get round the problem

have you put the correct firmware on, if the remote works on your max v then it looks like the EV2 has been changed to a max blue by either putting blue firmware on it or Jtagged
I've had no experience with this its only what I have read

yes put the correct software on....flashed a few different boxes so i can find my way around...i think its more the infared on the box thats gone

haha i borrowed a eurovox remote 1 / 2 and that sorted ALL mt probs out......anybody no were to get a old remote from
