Eurovox 7000 HD

Evening guys and gals,

Just received my 7000 HD and am having a right ball ache trying to scan for channels, I have uploaded the new firmware, done a factory reset, and every time I do a new install it gets to 50% and freezes or if I try to do a hard scan it gets to 100% then before it can install any of the channels it just goes back to the start of the scan cycle.

Has anyone had the same prob or could it be the tuner is knackered. It is driving me mad and I may just end up booting the cr*p out of it round the garden before long if I get no joy !

I Had the 5100 PVR and that was a dream to sort ... maybe I should have just kept that instead !!!!!

any help from you cleaver guys would be much appreciated.

Have you installed the latest firmware from this site m8, i got one a month ago installed firmware through a pen drive and then scanned for channels, bit of trouble at first with duplicate channels but it tells you on the firmware page how to get by this and also how to get your fav lists working ok, firmware is still a bit glitchy for this model and we are waiting for the next edition...

Morning acestu,

yer done all that chap when i first got the box but wasn't happy so did a reset and tried a deep scan then i found out this prob.

But your be happy to know (well maybe) that i have got it to do a deep scan finally after about three days of trying !!!! (oh and all the dents out the box after booting it around the garden several times into submission .... )

roll on the new firmware update eh !
