EX7000HD Fav Backup

Hi guys, I have a Eurovox EX7000HD and it took me forever to sort out the favs because of the bug in the firmware, is there a way that i can back up my channels and favs to a pen drive or through a serial cable because i need to rescan due to some channels dissapearing....

P.S I have a Eurovox Max also and the channels havent gone missing from that one, how weird is that

STM

Ok , I have just found the software STM for EX7000 but cant find a guide for it, i take it you just connect your null modem lead and run the app then click receive to download your channel list then edit and send, if this is correct could somebody please let me know...

Power Scan

O.M.G. I have just done a power scan on the EX7000 and guess what the favourites have gone, ok so i have done a factory reset and a deep scan, started to put my favs back in and when i check them i seem to have loads of channels in my favs group , is this a glitch in the firmware does anybody know please ?

The STBM is not the best manager but unfortunately it is the only one for the EX7000 due to the format the HD box is currently running.

All I can say is that you use it again to edit/save your favourites/channels once you have your transponders back. Some peolpe prefer to do the initial editing manually on the box itself, but that is your choice.
