im on eurovox tw area west mids. my box needs new codes but there isnt any out. wot should i do???

ive reput the old codes in and it seems to work although have to rescan a lot of the channels to get them working. they seem to be dissapearing on a daily basis now and its getting really annoying. if it needs the latest firmware i have no idea how to do this and i dont have any leads. i dont even know if the box is a clone or if its red, blue etc box. whats the difference between a normal box and a clone cos if its a clone the box is still working?
(sorry 4 being a no knowledge dummy but im sooo not technical.)

hi i have a starview 5 which i bought advised by tv man he put codes in got all chanals through cable line . then i started loosing them i only have basic channels now do i need to do what you have put as eurovox settings ? will this get channels back tv man said he couldnt get codes what should i do ?

yes correct,look at the kryptview section,780 box.

i looked on e-bay and spoke to someone selling sv6 is that a good option or 780 a better choice ? he told me its now done from cable tobox to internet back to box then to tv 8second delay he said . also he said some people are selling boxses without insalation instructions both boxes are about 150.00pound
