    7000HD - Rubbish EPG.. Whens the next firmware out?

    Hi all,

    I have the 7000HD+ running (fairly) sweet for a few weeks now.. using the latest firmware from here.

    But I get hardly any info via the EPG... just 'No Info' on 97% of channels...

    Compared this to a 1000SL and a 5000PVR... using the same cable feed... and got about 99% of the EPG info in a few seconds....

    Why is this EPG so rubbish...?? I have tried scanning/deep scanning and all sorts... same issues.
    Whats the point of having loads of channels if you dont know whats on...and also... can't PVR anything cuz I aint got any info.

    Anyone with any idea of when we may get an improved Firmware???

      This is a new box and there has only been 1 firmware relaesed so far. The softwa*e writers are aware of these problems and are working flat out to resolve these issues.
      It will take mabey a couple more releases before ALL the problems are resolved. Before a new softwa*e is released they have to fix as many problems as they can.

      As for other boxes you have mentioned, they or the softwa*e has been around for a long time so its had ample time to be fixed.
      SLOWLY, OUR FREEDOM IS BEING ERASED.

          yeah just as badapple says the guys are working hard on the problems that exist on the 7000hd firmware, just be thankful for what we have cos it always gets better through time.

              I do understand what your saying... and appreciate ALL the efforts being made by the E*vx Team.

              I will continue to wait... but just feel Im not getting the best out of the product...
