    Help Plaese-Where to buy a Eurovox ex1000

    Hi there,

If It's allowed, could anyone tell me where to buy the ex1000 from a reputable company.I know there are a lot of websites when I've googled, but do not know who to trust.

Also, I'm a lady with no technical knowledge, so any help I may need when setting up the box would be appreciated.

    Thankyou very much

Oh.......and what a very friendly forum this is

If you live in Ireland the eurovox currently isn't decoding all the channels, you would be better off with a different box.

If you are in the Uk, it's working fine.

              Hi again folks,

I have ordered another box for a friend, from lincast.co.uk.
They say it comes with the latest flashed firmware.
Does this mean when it arrives it is just the case of - Plug, Scan & PLAY ? Obviously it will need to be flashed in the future.

Anyone bought one from this website ?

              Any help appreciated

well if they are sellling them ready to go with the latest firmware that can get them in big trouble... i have heard the seller mentioned and they do not come up as one of the slagged off sellers it seems..

its not hard to update them anyway so whatever firmware they come with is fine...

why did you not order another one from the same seller in you mentioned in the first post?

                  Thanks for your reply.

Lincast have assured me the box is as easy as plug, scan & play.

My friend is a bit of a dinosaur......she's never used a pc in her life. So I thought I would see if I could get her a box all ready to go. Once I become accustomed to mine I will do any future updates for her.
