    EX7000HD TIP !!

Hi guys, just recently a few sly channels etc are going off daily, I have found the best way to get your channels back without upsetting your favs on an EX7000HD is:

When you are on the channel that has gone awol, press the info button and at the bottom it will give you the frequency...remember it then,

press menu and goto user instalation, then scroll down to QAM 64 and the frequency that you have remembered, then press ok and then press scan , after about ten seconds it will find the missing channels, press save and then exit the menu, and your channel should be back.....

    Hope this is usefull

Hi Mods, could you please consider this post for a sticky with perhaps a better title as i am sick of telling people over the phone because they can't find the thread....

        thanks

I would but there is already a sticky pertaining to scanning. Your suggestion is called a manual scan on a particular problem TP. There are many threads on this subject they just have not been posted/brought up in a while.

This is not just the case with the EX7000 but with all models flashed with Kuro/Darx.

If you need to direct people to your thread just pass them on the link.

Just lucky I thought to look today to see if there was an update to the firmware for this exact problem. Thanks very much for the post . I have got sick and tired of sorting out the channels after re-scanning.
