    Noob advice...

    Hi all, i am looking to buy a eurovox. I have sky now and the previous house owners had vm as there is a white box in the corner of the room. Please could you guys let me know my options and what would be the best box to buy. Thanks.

    do you know if the cable is live, as to which box to buy depends on how much your willing to spend.
    ex5100pvr is as good as any unless your forward thinking and want hd channels then the 7000pvr hd but at the moment there is not that many.

      there is also the ex1000sl option. choose this if you just want a basic box.

      if you want to be able to record to harddisk, choose the ex5100pvr

      if you want HD channels (only BBC HD at the moment) choose the ex7000 HD+ you can also add a USB harddisk to this to record programmes

        to find out if your feed is live, either get a friends modem or vm box and connect up and see what happens, good luck

            Just plug a cable from the VM outlet box into your TV aerial input if its live you should get the free to air channels
