Eurovox EX5000 PVR Help

Hi i have just done a factory reset and power scan on my eurovox ex5000 pvr. But all the channels are distorted and pixelated now. But before the scan most of the channels were fine frmware version is
1.0 ST4 28oct 2008

has it got a signal booster if so see if it is turned on if not use the 1/12/08 firmware it's got 1.

Defo have no hardware signal booster, so could it be built in to the firmware if not i take it if i install latest firmware that has it built in at the moment im just doing a deep scan so will check asap

press menu ,config,tv settings,ok and see if it's there if not flash with the 1/12/08. i have to go to work now good luck

Looks like im gonna have to update firmware but im having problems doing that i have the right cable but it keeps saying waiting for response from your reciever

try flash it when box is off click download then switch box on this might sort it m8

Yes i have used the cable before on my FTA 101 box only the once but i have just tried it again and i get Flash update fail
