    VM connection

    Hi all
I am moving in to a new place soon, been round to have a looksie and it has a Eurobell box etc on the wall in the living room so connection is ready to go.

If I sign up for the broadband service will I be able to just get a splitter and also hook up my Eurovox box and start watching TV without signing up for the tv package too?

Check the cable line to see if its still "live" if it is then stick your box on and it will work.

Even if its live I wont get broadband will I? Surely I'd at least have to register the modem with them, which would mean having an account of some sort?

Sorry for the confusion m8, I was just talking in general, that if the line is live u could just plug the box in and it will work.
If u need to have BB then YES, you will require an account and the modem supplied will be registered to your account.

you should pay for a basic tv package mate that way you help to keep us all connected(if everybody got it completely free there would be nothing to sell) also you will get an official box instaled which will talk back to your cable supplier and reduce your risk of getting caught.
