EUROVOX HELL

I bought a Eurovox and the null modem was not recognised on my computer so i bought a Maplin USB to serial convertor but i can not work out how to download the driver.
The disk that comes with it says it will accept all windows but keeps telling me on for windows 1998.
I have tried to install software off here but it just redirects me to new pages.
Is there anyone out there that can help me before i smash the damn thing.

PS please note i am not very good at this stuff so may need a simple explanation.

i had same problem m8 do what no3son said download the driver then change your com port

oops forgot about the com port bit. Assuming you're on a broadband connection move com 3 (usually the telephone modem) to an empty port and add the USB adapter to com 3
