hi all, can anybody help me please,i have just got my euro 7000 and need a fools guide as to what to do next,to get all the channels i mean,i havent got a clue.
I can no longer access the configuration menus in my EX7000,
when I press menu, and then select Deepscan, Fast install or even factory reset (any of that menus options), including the fast colour keys for EZ Config/ install I get the "Enter PIN" prompt, and as soon as I enter the 4th digit the following occurs:
- The PIN prompt dissapears as though nothing happened.
- No indication that PIN was right,
- No indication that PIN was wrong,
- nothing at all,
- the existing menu is simply displayed there in the default state as when the MENU button is pressed.
I tried reflashing - which I could only do by going back to an earlier (Jan '09) flash.tbn file because when you switch the box on and off the search for a flash file also checks that the version is the same, so if you try to flash with the same version the display will read "Same Version", and ignore it. So you must go back to an earlier version (which I also tried to access any of the config menus with) without joy, then I reflashed to the later firmware again (Mar '09) with the same failures.
thanks fantastic..................this is realyy amazing friend...brilllianttttttt.
