Vermin are de-tagging people who do not have sub, from main street box.
I am a paying VM subscriber, with tv phone and broadband. so cant be that for me.

The attenuators do reduce the signal, but i have read the signal strength is not the issue as it in the 80's%, but its the fluctuations in the signal causing picture break up. So i think the attenuators must dampen these fluctuations. Its worked for me, but as i said earlier i have to adjust it for every channel.

Just hope i can get it back to normal.

This is happening on every single channel i have avalible.
Get an adapter from maplins to fit the other input, this is another cable input this will reduce the power, if its an over power problem, if this wont work its a bad connection in the pit outside, that's the only 2 problems it can be except a faulty box, i would say the problem is in the street mate, take the box to another cable house and try it and rule the box out.

The bits I ordered only arrived today, so im going to try it tonight probably and see what I get.

I got both the Yellow Konig booster and a Konig 0-20db Variable attenuator.

Well I actually had some success, I put the variable attenuator on and cranked it up to max and got picture on some channels, I tried the booster and while I got some channels nothing would hold for more than a couple of seconds.

So I then took the attenuator and put on a couple of splitters and even more channels worked.

Turning off the signal booster didn't have any impact though. So it seams i'm suffering from far to strong a signal, i've ordered another couple of variable attenuators and will chain them and see if I can get all the other channels working.

The odd thing is it used to work perfect, and the VM box and 50mbit BB works perfect still.

ye exactly the same with me. Vm an bb work perfect. Got to watch the boxing tonight so not too bad, but the glitching picture and sound tends to be annoying. i need to try it elsewhere to see if its the box.

Does anyone think reloading the firmware would help?
