    Eurovox 5100 - can't flash

Hi. I've set up my eurovox 5100 but can't flash it.
Firstly my Mac is not recognising the new usb&null modem I bought with the eurovox and the firmware I downloaded is not recognised by my mac. When I tried to open the file I got the following message:
'The file "UFL_EX5100PVR_Dar_16-01-09.exe" does not appear to be compressed or encoded. It is advised that you obtain obtain further information about the contents of this file from the sender or the provider of the file.'

    Can anyone help?

You are using the files with the wrong computer mate. It is for PC only NOT for Mac. Hope this answer your question.

    OR

You can use VMWare fusion for mac and install xp as a virtual console, then you can do it for sure.

I answered him earlier http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...7/index25.html and I didnt realise he had posted again about the same problem.

Its possible with a Mac as I said in his first post but not worth the hassle.
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer. - Douglas Adams
