eurovox ex5100pvr

hi wondering what im doing wrong ?

i bought the box and have scanned and got all channels but they say scrambled
i bought the cables to attach pc to box
and have connected it and have got as far as the download
says waiting for responce of your reciever

i have plugged everything in correctly i think the box has not come up with ---- it has the time on it ?

i hope someone can help thanks in advance also do i have to have it connected to cable or just the box

Connect the box up and have the box power OFF when message comes power ON the box and the softwa*e will load.

You do not need it plugged to the cable supply also,andi had mine on standby when loaded.
