Eurovox EX5000

Hi everyone,

I have a Eurovox ex5000 pvr. It was working fine until this morning when the message updating code please wait came up. I retried my setup and reset the box to the factory default. Now when the channel search finishes it says no transponder. can anyone help!!

When you re-scanned did you put the correct Symbol Rate in for your area?? (e.g. 6887, 6875 etc)

Yes we checked the correct number from a link off this site.

set the box back to factory default then download the latest firware from dk and rescan the box.

Having the same problem.....already had my box since last year, and with latest firmware...NOW im back to inputting codes manually AGAIN....keys seem to roll every few days....very confused

thats a wierd 1 have you tried reloading the firmware

yes mate, tried a few times, i get channels, but have the audio voice over probs on quite a few, and every few days have to manually input keys again....just like the old keyroll.....maybe my box is ~~~~ed

i dont think your box is to ~~~~ed but is a software issue try a earlier firmware

your box is not ~~~~ed m8 the audio can be turned off press red button and select another audio? and for the keys they havent rolled for two month or so.

mine is having the same problem ex5000pvr not auto updating the keys have to input them manually when they roll via menu yellow button hopefully there will be a new software release the last 1 was feb 09

I dont think it a softwa*e issue an I am using the 16.01.09 firmware and the channels all back up and OK.
Mabey its still a VM signal issue in some areas as has been for the last week or so on some premium channels.
