    eurovox 5100pvr

    haveing props again with the above i had managed to recored some programes onto the box on sat night when i checked to watch them on sunday they all gone of the hard drive and again having props trying to record 2 today i have rebooted the box and it is still tempremental any help plse thanks

    are u sure the HDD is pushed it tight, if the pins are not tight then it will cause problems.
    What make is the HDD?
    Also did u flash the box with the HDD inserted?
    Always leave about 5 minutes of recording on the HDD, it seem to work better like this.

      try doing what you did the other night again mate, if the problem still persists reset the box to factory defaults via the menus and reinstal the firmware again, they are tempremental things.

        i think the hdd is a seagate 120 , and the pins are all the way home in the box with regards to flashing the box i did it off this site but the hdd whas not inserted if this is the proplem do i have to download the programe agian from scratch ??? if so do i have to turn the boxs to the factory settings ?? cheers

          dave its under menu/ configuration/ clear data
          then factory reset.
          the code is 0000.

          try flashing it with the latest firware on here autosort.
