    Sound problem on Eurovox 7000HD

    Hi guys,

    Getting a problem with the sound on my 7000HD. As I'm watching a channel, the volume will drop and go very quiet and then back to normal volume. It does this quite frequently and is pretty annoying.

    Any ideas on what it could be? Was thinking it might have something to do with the HDMI cable that came with the box?? Any suggestions?

      could be, it'd be the first thing I'd check anyway. If it came with the box it's probably a cheap crappy one.

                      It could be your tv is on avl (automalic voice levelling), just a thought

                          The sound level from the TV was fine and constant with the Vbox plugged in

                          Any other links for HDMI cables at the 0.5m seems too short? Then the next one up is like 6m on the above link?

                              i have brought an expensive gold plated HDMI cable and it works fine very clear sound no problems at all
