eurovox ex100sl-major problem

2nd box in two weeks (changed by seller). Loaded software onto box, scanned for channels only picking up a handful and they are freezing and pixelating. Have tried booster, removed splitter, you name it ive tried it. First box worked fine for a month till it blew up. please please please. any helpers

1000sl are touchy if signal strength is too high or too low
Hit INFO button twice to show SIGNAL STRENGTH & QUALITY
80%--90% strength is good; below 80% & above 90% is trouble.
Check SIGNAL strength& quality at different times of day to see
is there fluctuation in values. If quality goes higher than strength
you have real trouble.
SIMPLE CHECKS:
Fit new scart lead--make sure its in TV outlet on BOX
Fit new co-axial lead
CONNECT co-axial lead direct to TV; see is picture good on all channels
Try box at other house; If its ok try a kryptvu; digivox or dream at your
house, these boxes are not as sensitive as your box
Also check are there any other splitters on your cable run which could
have bad connections.
Shout back with full report on your solution; It will help some other poor
divil with same problem

could be poor cable quality mate or tight bends or water in cable. think about replacing it with high quality cable.

only getting 8% level and quality, why is this and why is my v box working ok?

I have the same problem on the same box, but i have 80% - 90% so i have no idea whats going on.

If all else fails, where can i get the FTA software back on it so i can return to the supplier?
