The EOROVOX masterplan is obviously to sort out the NAGRA 3 fix which
might not be needed for some time to come [if ever]. THE world could end
before N*L have the money & expertise to stream on N3 only without their
legit UPC boxes, broadband, & phone service.
Let's not forget the huge sums of money involved in upgrading the
antiquated CHORUS network.
After all the money that has been spent on NAGRA 2 all of CORK city &
county are still able to view all chls. on chorus system
Most counties are on chorus aerials[all channels showing]; Add to that the
many N*L viewers who have KRYPTVU, DREAM,ITGATE,DBOX ,SV4,&
DIGIVOX-USB, OPEN MEDIA & surely other boxes soon
Maybe in the current economic climate our prudent bankers might pull the
plug on funding the massive outlay on this futile project.Remember it is a
lot easier & cheaper to hack a system than to encrypt one.
Maybe if SKY & UPC charged more just & fair prices people would be
glad to pay them for what is a very good serviceComment

the eurovox is a good box, easy to use and flash and quite functional
but not very well supported in Ireland in our current predicament
the guys who make this box could easily create a fix for n2 but they
dont bother, why....looks like to me they are lookin to cash in wit new sales
on the next box "the super dooper eurovox that works in Irl" whenever it
comes out and to hell wit the old boxes
credit to the guys dat have supported dere boxes ie kryptview, itgate
and the hypercam guys dat enabled the dreamboxes to be fixed
well im gettin rid of my eurovox and wont be gettin another one, ill
be stickin to the linux boxesComment

Is this just some wishful thinking ? If the Eurovox guys dont get a move on soon everyone is going to migrate to Dreambox or Kryptview. They're functional boxes but I prefer using the SL1000Comment
