    EX1000SL Saving Favorites

Just got my new box, Scanned & found all the channels, just so many .

Trying to save some as favorites, can this only be done by connecting to a pc?

    Thanks for reading.

Hopefully not a patronising question, but have you installed the firmware?

you will loose any saved favourite channels you may have created when you next update your firmware. you can avoid this inconvevience by saving the favourite file to your computer in a cdf file its very simple to do just have a look around the forum mate. alternatively you can upload other members cdf files to your own box but you must upload them for whatever area of the uk you come from. these are available in the downloads section. either way you will need a computer to do it

You need to connect your box with the 9 pin Null Modem Cable (Female-Female) to a computer with a 9 pin socket, and install the firmware that can be found on the top of the main Eurovox forum page.

Then re-do the scan, and channels will be accessible.
