work outside UK

Can any of digital boxes; dreambox, eurovox etc work in amercia and do then same job they are capable of in the UK, any comments welcome, thanks

suppose they could work ok mate as long as the americanos did some work on the firmware, although the boxes would have to ntsc instead of pal output.
