eurovox 7000hd

Ive just treated myself to one of these boxes but i cant get it to find any channels. Ive done the firmware but not sure if its the right version. Modfied on 02 March 2009, 15:22:55.

Im trying to get the firmware form this site but it wont allow me to how can i get it???

im sure your account will be updated soon mate i dont know if its 3 or 5 posts you need to do first hope this helps what image is it you r looking for have you tried the chatterbox

the latest firmware is 12/3/09 you should be able 2 download it now it can take 15/30.min's after your 1st post

get the firefox browser and do a search for the chatterbox tool bar then download into the browser once installed under files and fixes you will get the latest version for your box.

right ive done that ive now got the latest firmware, ive flashed and now scanning but on 26% and nothing has happened

6887 finally gettting some channels, shal i do a deep scan after this?

no need to do a deep scan. It takes a long time because usually there are no channels at the lower frequency. Where I live the fist channel comes at 282MHz, so from 100MHz (start point) until 282 it finds nothing, but spends time looking. Note what frequency the first channel starts on so next time you have to scan you can tell it to start from (just before) there. I start my scans at 280MHz

if you are scanning on 6887 then i take it your in a pure area like me i start at 339 and end at 755 but before you do any scan do a factory reset

Hi m8 and welcome to the forum you will need the latest firmware 12/3/09 from downloads put this onto the memory pen that you should have got with the box then put it in the back of the box switch the box off/on with the switch at the back of the box and thats it (easy init)
