Mine never but I had a starview that was stuck saying on so I swapped the drive over from that

the ex7000 dosent have a hard drive installed you use the memory pen to record but you can use a externel usb hard drive

Hi i,ve just got my ex7000 with out a hard drive but you can get them already installed although there is a supply problem from some re-sellers. You can use a usb stick 8gb plus for the time being to pause and rewind tho or purchase a seperate hdd if you need at a later date. Depends how much stored programes you want to keep. The seagate hard drive is the 1 i,ve ordered, will post more when its fitted (incl model no)
