I know i might come across a little thick, but can anyone tell me what a cdf file is, how it works and how to put it on to my box,

its a file available from the downloads section which you can download to your box. it puts all the channels into the correct order for you and saves you doing it yourself every time you do a deep scan. you need to download the correct cdf file for whatever area of the uk you come from. ie a glasgow cdf file would not work in say liverpool.
