ex1000 flash or not

hi there we have had our ex1000 for a few months now and occasionally we lose some channels and we can get them back by either doing a manual scan or a factory default and power scan ,problem being now is whitch ever i do now it only lasting 30 mins or so and as the main program we have on is the disney playhouse the kids arnt happy.I have never flashed the box but have got the correct lead ready for when needed ,the s/w version is 1.0st4 oct28 2008

would you recommend me trying to flash the box now or is there something else worth doing first as i dont want to buger it many thanks amanda xx

do factory reset then flash your box with this firmware Digital Kaos - Downloads - UFL_EX1000SL_24-02-09_DarX then rescan

do as andy4 says and flash with feb software, i updated one last week with this software and had no probs since.

My EX1000SL arrived today. Will ry this version tonight and see how it goes !

YES, once u have the latest softw*re on the box, it will auto update the co*es.
