eurovox max black 8% red or 77% green

hello ,.... i have a eurovox max black,(i'm a novice) tried every piece of firmware i can find with no joy at all either get a red signal strenth of 8% or a green signal strenth of 77% but dont find any tps . i'm at my wits end ............. can anyone help please .

have you scanned with correct symbol rate either 6.952 or 6.887

is your line live do you pay any subs to vm if you are using a splitter take it of and try a direct feed do you have a signel booster press menu ,config ,tv settings ,ok and see if its there and turn it on

i have a direct feed and never needed a signl booster before ,but i'll try everything poss. ive done eurovox before but never had this result

If your box is Max V 2008, it may be suffering from the 8% signal lock. You will have to flas the box with this >Digital Kaos - Downloads - Eurovox Max V 8% Signal Fix.
Try everything else first and leave this to last.

i have tried the 8% with no luck . bt not wih the signal booster on as chic suggested ... i'll try it again

no luck... still 8% ,,does the uhf have anything to do with it ? its on 40 im in south lanarkshire

Hi m8 i am also in south lanarkshire( rutherglen ) the uhf i have is pal b/g but has nothing to do with the signal have you tried another box on the same feed.

if all else fails !!

is your box a clone ?? thats important to find out,,

i have had max v clone boxes accept the flash of firmware ok then flatly refuse to powerscan properly..or even accept a cdf for the area !! (pesky clones)

can you post which area you are in eg 6.887 pure ntl

so someone can give you a working transponder/frequency manually add it to the box,, then manual scan it,, and see if it works.

it sounds like you need the 8% signal boost turned on mate i can't mind how to do it but its there somewhere hope you get it going mate

sorry i hav'nt replied quicker,was called away...... ayway i loaded ( ufl max v autosort 5-12-08. cleared data and chose 6952 (my area) the signal was 8% red, went back to main menu, tv setup and turned on signal booster(save an exit) .in installation selected fast install the signal was still 8% red . still in fast install i changed the symbal rate to 6887.. pressed ok and got 84% green , instead of scanning i exited out to fast install again changed back to 6952 and the signal stayed at 84% green pressed ok and scanned for channels , bingo i've got a working box again . i hope this may be of help to somebody the way i was helped here ...... thanx to all ... yeehah !!!
