ive downloaded it thanks, but i dont know what to do with it, do i change the name before i put it onto my pen drive,

Do a factory Reset - then do a deep scan - next go 2 favourites setup ( then say u want group 1 as sports ) add say sky sports1 THEN SAVE (blue button) then add say ss2 agian save. and so on. just press save after u add each channel works fine Sorted

what area are you in it's mutch easier to download a channel file to your box this will sort your favs for you, you can find one in downloads its under cdf your file will be a ex7000hd tbn channel file

There are only a couple of tbn files in the download area, and none for my area (Richmond-Upon-Thames). Does anyone have a pointer to a tbn file for my area?

maybe someone will upload 1 for you in the meantime what i did was ,go to favourites setup ,ok,it may start with disc realtime press no 3 and a thing like a paper clip will appear this will put it in favs 3 then do the same with the rest of the disc channels then do the same thing with the sposts and movies exct but use another number you can name the favs what you like

I've just bought a 7000hd tonight and also having problem with the favourites. Me and my wife have been going around in circles all night. No matter what we try they are not in the favourites when we go back after saving. I'll have a try of the channel editor. Thank you.

P.S. This is my 3rd Eurovox so not completely new to them

It depends if you are pure ntl, or ex cw, or tw, when I had mine I was ex cw and I could store favs and the epg was spot on, it saved recorded stuff with the full name of programme not the channel. I ran the march firmware and it was fine the beta firmware caused problems with storing favourites.

You can manually change and put it on Chanel list if you have 2 hours to spare that's what i did and saved it to my pen, after a re scan on user installation they will still keep the order, if you press info all the boxes will go on and you can scan all stations and still keep the order, its a hard box to work.
