I bought the EX5100 PVR with hardrive a couple of weeks ago and am having some annoying problems with it.
(1) - I can only record one program without having to re-boot the box. If I try to record a second program, the box records for 4 seconds and then switches off. It does this every time.
(2) - The box keeps freezing in Standby Mode and wont switch into normal mode, until it feels like it( usually after about 5 mins)
I bought the reciever from Box2000.co.uk and they're warranty rules state that 'any unofficial software installed onto the box renders the warranty void'. Like, nice one
So i'd like to know if anyone has returned a faulty box to they're supplier and what the outcome was and also if it's possible to remove the 'Flashing software' before returning the box to the supplier so they will repair the bugger.
Any help or suggestions would be great guys.
