Eurovox unable to connect to pc

I have brought a null cable so i can download the 8% fix but the PC doesnt seem to be recognising the eurovox. I click upload but nothing happens.
Am i doing something wrong.
It know its probabily something silly so i applogise.

best to get a nine pin to nine pin and not a usb,had same prob but this sortid this out,there a tenner at maplins,better this way as most usb arnt true rs cables

put the box on standby and click download

if youre using a usb cable mate you need to make sure youve got the correect drivers for your computer before you connect up your box
