    PVR5100

Hi. To start, please pardon my ignorance I'm a bit new to this. I've just had Virgin Media installed, TV and broadband, from the main cable sits a 2 way splitter with a cables to my TV box and modem, I want to ADD a PVR 5100 to use in another room, my questions are....do i replace the 2 way splitter with a 3 way to serve both boxes and my modem or do i put another 2 way splitter after the splitter virgin installed to servr the 2 boxes? Also, will I need a booster? If so, where does that fit in the mix? Please be gentle with your replies. Thanks in advance.

use a 3 way splitter mate two cables to the two dodgy boxes and one to the oroginal digital box that vm instaled, its always best to let their own box talk back to them it lets them think theres nothing dodgy going on, and before you ask no the eurovoxes cant talk back so they will never know you have them there.

Thanx chic, so where would the booster fit exactly before or after the splitter? This one, just to serve the 2 boxes after the splitter?

or this one? from the main feed to serve the 2 boxes plus the broadband before the splitter?

3way splitter will do the job m8 you prob wont need a booster just remember when you scan for channels turn your broadband off it will drain the signal

Yes m8, u have to first update the softwa*e on the box to get all the channels. Have a look at these
