ive just got my eurovox sl 1000 but dont have the usb cable DAME! only just found out you need one.

i have one you can get them in the likes of malpins just make sure its a null rs232 cable or it wont work

Ive just bought that RS232 cable from amazon but it doesnt say anything about null? shall i still get it? please help??

Make sure you do not buy just a straight through Serial RS232 9-Pin Female to Female cable, they seems to be quite a few people buying these from maplins, and they look exactly the same. However a Null Modem Cable is a cross over serial cable.
Maplins order numbers are,

L71BT Correct order code,
L68BT <-- This cable will not work!

well most for most boxes it has to be a null cable

Well I got it going really easily. Top instructions made it simples. I had a lead provided in the box and it fitted to an old laptop so I was lucky. Thanks to those who made the software and tutorials.

errr well need help now

Hmm,
I had all channels last night. Tonight some of the channels are scrambled. For example SSports 1 is scrambled but all other sports ones are still working. How do I get SSports 1 back? Dont tell me I have to rescan!!! Noooo...
