    Another Eurovox EX5000PVR HDD Question

I've been looking for a HDD for a while, just wanted to confirm that the 120gb WD Scorpio (http://i1.ebayimg.com/03/i/001/2c/ea/a6bd_1.JPG) was compatible with my Eurovox.

Also, I'm not too sure if I'm allowed to post direct links to items, but is ?43.00 a decent price for this? [including delivery]

    Zak.

Connections look fine, nothing preventing it from engaging, only problem is that I've never used that make so it could have issues and may not work.

If it was me, I'd stick with one of the known ones that have been proven to work.

Still not a bad price all the same.

i use the seagate 120gb for my ex500pvr it works fine but be aware these boxes can be a bit funny with their recording abilities, loads of people have teething trouble with them trying to get them to record.

when you first put the hard drive into the eurovox and press record they can sometimes take up to 5 minutes to start the recording.it only happens the first time you record onto an empty drive, so most folks always leave a five minute recording on the drive at all times. thats what i do and it works ok for me

I'd appreciate it if someone can quickly can confirm if this HDD will be compatible. The listing for this item on eBay ends soon...

zac a lot of people have had too many problems with drives other than the seagate 120gb so i would personally recommend that to you having used one for over a year.
