Missing Channels

hi i've just got a Eurovox EX1000 SL but i am missin sum channels like Sky 1, Sky Movies Screen 1 & 2 and a few others.

i have tryed doin a Fast Install & Deep Scan but still with no joy.

could any1 please tell me why i cant receive these channels

Hi m8, before scanning, do a clear date/factory reset.
Also scan from direct line without any splitters.

i have a 5000, after a deep scan, i found sky1/2/3 at the bottom of one of the other favorities, others i think

i've tried deep scan but still no sky 1. i think i must have a weak signal coz on sum freqs im only gettin about 30% signal and others freqs are around 83%

Please state location, if it's Dublin IRL you need manual scan 150.000 MHz
If in UK weak signal could be caused by bad cables or splitter.

I don't like boosters. Your cable company should rectify a weak signal issue,
providing you are paying them. If not you could borrow a booster to try it. If it
does the trick, then buy a decent one.Most times it's faulty cables or fittings
that cause poor signal. I sorted out a Kryptvu the other day. None of the
chls. on 3 highest had a signal, all other chls. were fine. I replaced a dodgy
cable in the attic & all chls. are fine now.So check your cables.
You could scan your box in a nearby house on same provider.
Check all chls. there & then check again in your own house

checked all cables and connectors n they r fine. looks like a weak signal to me. ta for all ur help though
