Nagra2 fix for ex7000HD Is Here

Hello,

Wondering if anyone could update us, is there, or will there be a nagra 2 firmware fix for the HD eurovox ex7000 for Ireland?

Reading about all the other boxes being fixed is making us quite envious!

Thanks for any help you might be able to provide.

I am only guessing but there must be an update for the EX7000HD soon, as this is the latest box that euro have relased.
They have managed to fix the slightly older models so I am guessing, they must be working on it and will be available soon.

they ,UPC are said to be running 4 HD test chls. at the moment
On a vaguely related matter, Samsung 50" HD tv
On N*L cable (EIRE) cable direct to TV (no diablo or other ext. cam)
Over 140 TV chls. found on DTV scan, full EPG on all chls.
No chls. on N2 or N3 streams are clearing
All chls.(15) on N1 are clearing with excellent digital picture
Does this mean my TV is capable of hacking NAGRA 1.
If I got my hands on software update could it clear NAGRA 2
without the need for DIABLO cam, whitch has NAGRA 2 fix

if you had an xcam with funcard written with file for n2 (which has not been done ) you could clear n2 ,the diablo n2 is for satellite ,cable n2 keys are encrytpted and not public,all you have done is scanned the network so answer is no

Have read many ofyour posts over past while & You seem to know what your about. you havebeen helpful to novices with simple, but accurate replies which they canunderstand. So I am not going to come on here & ram my ideas down.your throat. I am a little bit wiser than that. I made enough mistakes to be very wise.
I'm merely telling you what I see In front of me & asking your views.
Before I go, cable tuner boxes are closed file,linux tuner boxes are open
& clear N2. Thats why all linux & cam fixes soon followed ITGATE fix for
N2,because FIX was open source. Sorry for rambling on, I have more

m8 these channels are running for 2 or so years now they are FTA and can be picked up with out a box

The four channels you are talking about are the test channels for their proposed Freeview DTT service.

The latest ones that are been picked up are indeed new HD channels but they are been tested over the 1802 stream (Nagra 3). Thats why you cannot view them even on a HD box.

You will find the Nagra 2 fix for the EX7000 here

I will not put it in the stickies yet although it works. It is still Beta 6887 deepscan does not work so you need to add TPs manually.

However you channels should stay after the flash in which case a scan will not be required.

you didnt say you were on N! yes you can clear channels with an xcam and programmed funcard see link below ,the itgate although a near clone of dm 500 is not open source they did get n2 fixed and put price up of boxes i imagine that someone has taken the n2 from itgate and fitted that into the dm 500 but that a guess and as far as i know keys are encrypted for n2
