No or Bad Signal - Eurovox Max Red

    Hi Guys,

I know im not the only one experiencing this but is there a fix?

For the last few weeks most of my channels inc. bbc1,bbc2 etc are breaking up. Only some of the channels are working fine.

Ive used my box at my brothers house (10 mins away) and all the channels work fine there but when i used their box at my house the pictures were breaking up for some of the channels.

i have removed the splitter and it has made no difference. i read an atteneuter will sort the problem out but it hasnt.

Ive used my vm box and all the freeview channels are working fine but the same channels are breaking up when i connect my eurovox.

    any advice?

as your box works OK elsewhere then the problem has to be the signal quality/strength
an attenuator reduces the signal which is probably not your problem maybe a signal booster will work.
if you select a problem channel press the info button twice on the remote and see what signal quality and strength you are getting, round about 80% is the optimum

never used one myself but what is your signal strength,
check if there is an option to turn signal booster on in config options (don't know if the red has this option)

u can get a variable attenataurfrom flea bay or b&q or maplins these r good as u can increase ur signal or decrease it if needed.

            same thing happened to me
the channels stopped working except for a few
apparently virmin are peforming tests - you will only get a few channels - if u use an attenuator you'll get a few more back
my channels and signal reverted bak to normal - your just gonna have to wait a couple of months
i know thats sound stupid but trust me it'll come back and work normally again
same thing happened to a number of ppl but theirs has come back

            just wait it out
