hi hope someone can help!! i've got euro max-v i've got all the channels apart from sports 1 & 3 so i got my friend to download the channel in but i have no signal for the 1&3, i have connected a booster to it and still nothing, hope someone can help?

i found out that the feq only goes upto around 666 in this area and sports 1-3 is in the over 700 mkh

have a look at the unamed channels (ie tvch 1 ,2,3 exct) and see if thay are there

First check that the signal comming in is as it should with no variation, Menu -user installation (1004) check signal on freqencies, make sure they don't fluctuate from 84% down to 8% if they do then Virgin are still upgrading in your area so you cannot do a scan. If they are ok ensure you have the latest patch and no booster/attenuators attached and you are scanning on the right modulator for your area and deep scan. If you had them and they just whent blank then just update channels.

sky sports 1 and 3 said no signal today on my eurovox max v so i did a deep scan still no sky sports 1 and 3 every thing else seems to be ther exept skysports news but that wasnt ther b4 this happend and its on free view tv so not a problem.sky sports 2 works ok,has anyone got any ideas of what to do as sky sports 1 i the main chanel i watch the football on all the time.

klik on the freq that r missin then do a maual scan that should bring ur channels back..

press menu go 2 installation , go doon 2 user install then press on that,enter pin which is normally 4 zero,s then clik on the numbers when the power bar at the bottom goes from green to red once uv cliked on them press the blue btton on ur remote ok then wait for ur channels to come bak appro 15 mins

after i done a new scan ther is no skysports 1 or 3 to click on to tick then manual scan on the blue button is ther anything else i can do?

go to were the channels were then press info twice that will tell u whay freq they were on then cliq on the freq as i said then do a manual scan if that does not work try a full scan.

on my evox ss 1 and 3 are 731 mhz so if you only getting up to 700 your not scanning high enough, do a fresh power scan, make sure it starts at 100mhz and stops at 870mhz and you have got the right symbol rate also

ive done 2 full scans 2day and all thats in my sports favorites list now is sky sports 2,attheracers,british euro,extreme sports and mutv,ive looked in all the un named chanels and thers no skysports 1 or 3 anywere it isnt picking them up on a scan i have even deep scaned it.do you know what freq skysports 1 should be on?sky sports 2 is on 715.00 i am on virgin in teeside area.

Ive got it sorted lads i took eurovox down stairs and put straight to the virmin wall socket and done another deep scan its picked skysports 1,2 and 3 up now.it must have been the long run of cable ect going upstairs holding the signal back a bit.sky sports 1 is on freq 650.00 in my area.thanks for your time lads.
